International Creatives London

International Creatives London

The opportunity

London is home to many expat creatives. Unfortunately, no organisation exists to unite and empower them.

The solution

I came up with the idea for a first-of-its-kind group for international creatives in London.

Founded in December 2015, the non-profit International Creatives London aims to support foreign creatives at every level in this multicultural city.

Our members include photographers, designers, strategists, copywriters, art directors, producers, film directors, UX consultants, creative technologists and so on. We also offer membership to British nationals who believe in what we stand for and want to participate.

Soon after our launch, Campaign wrote about us in April 2016. Thanks to media attention and word-of-mouth, ICLDN grew to 700 members in under a year. The group and its activities continue to resonate with the expat creative community in London.

ICLDN has received tremendous support from ad agencies and recruiters alike - CP+B, AKQA, VML, iris, BBH, MullenLowe, DigitasLBi, Major Players and others. We meet about six times a year to network and be inspired by our keynote speakers.

  • Our Facebook group has over 1,000 members and is still growing.

  • We launched ICLDN Jobs to connect expat talent in London with opportunities.

  • We published a comprehensive guide for creatives who are new to London and trying to settle in and find work.
